  • The return of the fox. When Jannik Sinner was in school, his nickname was ā€˜Foxā€™. And it looks like Nike now wants Sinner fans to reconnect with the Fox again. Sinnerā€™s fox-shaped personal logo was spotted on the practice courts in Turin, Italy, this week. He was seen rocking a white Nike cap with the logo, and also showing off personalised gear, including court shoes with ā€˜Jannikā€™ emblazoned on the back heel.

  • Showing off. Sinner teased the new apparel and gear on social media, with a video set to Outkastā€™s ā€˜So Fresh, So Cleanā€™. It was back in 2022 that Nike and Sinner unveiled an intricate fox-shaped logo with hidden personal references. His initials ā€˜J.S.ā€™ are hidden in the bottom left corner, while the lines and angles symbolise his two passions, tennis and skiing. The logo didnā€™t get much use after its introduction, until now.

  • Itā€™s all about motivation. In 2024, the only title Novak Djokovic won was the gold medal for Serbia at the 2024 Paris Olympics. His former coach Goran Ivanisevic believes he can still contend for major titles in 2025. ā€œI canā€™t know if he is motivated and how much, but the moment he decides to play, it means that he is eager to play,ā€ Ivanisevic told Tennis Majors.

  • Write Novak off at your own peril. Ivanisevic went on to add, ā€œā€¦ when he wants to play, heā€™s still the best in the world, in my opinion. The thing is how much he wants to play and when ā€“ we saw at the Olympicsā€¦ If he plays like that, then he can still win a Slamā€¦ Can he do it? Yes, he can. You can never write him off. Iā€™d never do that.ā€
